ABOUT OUR INTERNSHIP PROGRAM
Tempco Heating & Sheet Metal Internship Program is designed to provide you with practical skills, valuable retail experiences, and exposure to real-world scenarios in the Retail industry.
Jump in from day one as a paid intern at Tempco, where you’ll dive straight into learning how to grow a thriving family-owned business and build top-notch skills. Our university and college interns take on the same challenges as our full-timers, all while enjoying a friendly, family-focused environment. You’ll have supportive peers by your side, guiding you as you learn, grow, and flourish along the way!
The internship is full time, Monday – Friday runs from May 5th to August 29, 2025 and pays $17.20 per hour. Come join us and make the most of your summer—both professionally and personally!
LOCATION
This internship takes place at our flagship location on 29 Howden Road in Scarborough, M1R 3C7.

Throughout your internship, you’ll put your business analyst, merchandising and marketing skills into action by working on hands-on projects.
Key Responsibilities
As a Business Analyst Intern, you will support our team in gathering, analyzing, and interpreting data to guide strategic decisions.
- You will assist in creating reports and presentations, identifying process improvements, and collaborating with various departments (e.g., Finance, Marketing, Operations) to understand their needs.
- Through hands-on projects, you’ll learn core business analysis techniques (including data collection and visualization), gain exposure to real-world business challenges, and develop problem-solving and communication skills under the mentorship of experienced professionals
- Oversee the planning, creation, and execution of advertising campaigns designed to boost product or service sales. They collaborate with teams to craft engaging content that attracts customers and drives brand awareness.
- Develop and implement communication plans that highlight events, manage publicity efforts, and maintain strong connections with the media. Their main goal is to uphold a positive public image for organizations across various sectors.
- Focus on all things digital by directing the design, maintenance, and improvement of online tools—websites, apps, and more. They collaborate with advertising, marketing, and PR teams to grow a company’s online presence and coordinate public relations, marketing campaigns, and social media efforts.
Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- Enrolled in a post-secondary institution in marketing, communication or business-related field.
- Must be legally authorized to work in Canada.
